Its a nice, shady, and mellow hike that spits you out at a cool waterfall. Its only 1.4 miles so it doesn’t take the entire day either. One nice surprise was the ANIME PHOTO SHOOT! Yes thats right, full on costumes, swords, and crazy hair. Check the gallery below for all the fun.

It snowed each night and was blue bird by morning with an empty mountain. We took full top to bottom runs on the closed sections of the mountains and got rides back to the resort. The snow was pretty heavy that day so we stuck to the trees and stayed close the packed snow.

So to start us off, I am showing you the update process of a website I did for one of the first paying clients, Gailmaire. I did this site a while back and over that time I became a lot more sophisticated in web design and so an update was needed. In the first stage of this project I am redesigning the intro page. Currently the site opens like this:

So, for the next version I had a couple of goals. One, update the overall style to a more professional appeal. Two, better optimized for all browsers (ie6 and iPhone as well). Three, tidy up the navigation. Four, incorporate the new firm Capre that Gailmarie became a part of. So the final comp looks like this:
