To keep things fresh I thought I would put out more pictures from Maui.
More Maui!!!
First Day in Maui
Today we just kept it mellow to ease into our vacation. After waking up and being able to enjoy the views in the daylight, we headed into town for some breakfast. The three of us downed a few macadamia nut pancakes and then finally meet up with Jen and Randal for a day at the pool followed by an evening dinner cruise on the ocean.

Down South for the Weekend
Dolly and I were graciously invited by my mother for a weekend in San Diego. So, Friday night we packed our bags and with google maps on my trusty iPod, we headed to La Jolla. Little did we know that La Jolla really upped the bar when it comes to naming their streets:
La Jolla Pkwy, La Jolla Village Pkwy, La Jolla Village Road, La Jolla Blvd, La Jolla Shore Dr., Villa La Jolla Blvd., La Jolla Village Center, and actually more!
We finally arrived at the inn around 11, then quickly got settled into bed. The next day we headed out separately from my mom before meeting up for lunch. Dolly was curious about Old Town San Diego, so off we went. As a result, I have these words of advice, don’t go there at 1 in the afternoon. It was fairly dead and nothing to see besides making you park rather far away. We then trekked back to La Jolla to a nice pub called the “Taproom.” Besides a great selection of local ales, they can make a very nice pizza. It was off of Garnett near the American Apparel.
After, lunch everybody headed to the back for some exploring at the tide pools.

After the beach, we headed back to the hotel for a quick break, then dinner, then a movie.
That’s all for today. Day 2 continued later.
Catching Up
I’ve been very busy with all sorts of stuff, some of it may even end up on the blog. For now though, I suggest going over to Dolly’s Little Blog to get the skinny on some of the things we have been doing. Thanks for coming back and I promise I will have more to look at soon…
Daily Dolly 3
As the finale for the season, here is your third Daily Dolly. You’re gonna have to wait a few good months for the next one, but hopefully this can hold you over for a bit. Dolly Lee versus the Tailblock.

Mountain Farewell

Time for everyone to go home
Well, this is it. Another season is over and immediately it becomes over 100 degrees down here. Like always, its sad to say goodbye but it seems like everyone can use a break and get back to their normal lives.

Excellent Coverage
All in all I think we are all glad to make the final trek up to Big Bear. Even with not much left on the hill, there was that element of closure to the season. I got my last runs and can thankfully say no injuries for me this season. Definitely a plus over last season and hopefully the momentum continues on to next year. Goodbye Big Bear, till next time.

Even though its the last day we're still happy
Making a comeback
I’ve been away from the blog for awhile but I’m coming back soon. Also be on the lookout for some changes to the blog pages. I am slowly trying to customize this theme for my own.

Zipline in Hawaii
Up to the mountains we went, then through the tress we zipped. This was such a fun thing to do and I recommend that everyone try it once. Check out some pictures:
Also here is a video I secretly took on our adventure.
